Light up the Night (fireworks)

What's it all about?

Workington Town Council are hosting a fireworks display on Sunday 5th November from 4pm in the Fibrus Community Stadium, home of Workington Town Rugby League Club.

This family friendly fireworks display will be brought to you by Merlin Fireworks; the company responsible for the Carlisle fireworks display.

In addition to the main show, we also have a fire show by Matrix Circus, which will include fire eating and fire juggling. This will start at 5pm. 

​

Doors to the stadium open at 4pm.

Please only attend the event if you have a ticket or e-ticket. The barcode on your ticket will only scan ONCE, so please do not share your ticket with others. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 

​

There will be food and drink stalls available from 4pm plus an outside bar offering a selection of draught beers, wines and spirits. Sarah's gifts will be on hand with lots of light up toys and the fun fair will have something to keep the kids entertained.

NO car parking is available at the Fibrus Community Stadium, this will be for Disabled Ticket Holders only.
 

Free parking is available at The Reds, Tesco & The Train Station.
On street parking – Please park in designated bays, safely.
Pay & Display Allerdale House & Workington Leisure Centre.

 

Please do not bring your own fireworks or sparklers to this event and no animals are allowed.
