11am - 4pm
Venue: Harrington Marina
The spectacular Harrington Kite Festival returns to Bellaport Marina in Harrington on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August, 11am – 4pm.
The event features a huge kite display by the internationally renowned SmileFactor10. The impressive kites can be seen from miles around.
In addition to the kite displays, there will be a fun fair, a local market, face painting, and children’s entertainment. The event is free, with a small charge for the fun fair.
Fly a kite:
Bring your own kite and fly with the professionals. SmileFactor10 will guide you through the best techniques for flying your kite.
Flying teddy bears! Ever wanted to see your teddy fly? Bring your favourite cuddly toy and see how high they can fly on our zip wire!
Access to the festival is via a narrow road and it can get very busy. Beat the traffic and check out public transport options: www.traveline.info
If you would like to book a stall at this event, please click on the links below, complete and submit a booking form. Once received we will contact you to confirm your reservation or discuss it with you.
Please note that we only have a limited number of stalls available which will all be located under cover in our marquee and security will be present overnight on Saturday. We do still recommend that valuables are removed.

Workshops are completely free: we will provide everything you need to make your kite. Workshops will be held at Harrington Youth Club.
These workshops are very popular, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Parking: On-street parking is very limited on Church Road. More parking is available by the harbourside (a 5 minute walk from the venue)
Clothing: We will be using permanent markers and sticky tape so please ensure children are appropriately dressed for using their imagination and being creative (i.e. making a mess)!
