Macbeth

7pm

Venue:  Workington Hall

What's it all about?

The Oddsocks Theatre company is bringing a unique experience to Workington, in the form of Macbeth!

The performance itself will be held outside the hall in the park.  This is so we don't have to restrict numbers and as many of you can enjoy it as possible.  There is no charge and there is no need to book, just turn up.

Here's some useful information if you are planning on joining us:

Parking – there is no parking available on site.  Nearest car parks are Horse Close CA14 4YB and Udale Street/Ladies Walk CA14 3BA.  Charges may apply so please check before parking.

What to wear – comfortable clothing and prepare for all weathers.  This is an outdoor performance and we all know what the British weather is like!

What to bring – food, drink (yes, you can bring alcohol), seats, blankets, umbrellas, torches.  Gazebos are allowed, but please be considerate to other spectators when setting up and you may be asked to move. No BBQs.

Food and drink stalls available – Prosecco Al Fresco, Taste of Mumbai, Cumbria Gourmet Burgers, Urban Grill and MP Speciality Coffee.

Tours – will start promptly, please come to the front of the Hall on arrival so we can check you in.  The tour will last approx. 30 mins and will take you round the grounds of the Hall before finishing inside the courtyard. An enchanting storyteller will be guiding you.

Tours are fully booked, so if you can no longer attend please let us know ASAP as we have a waiting list.

Archery – will be running from 2-5pm, only £1, so pop down and have a go.

Fairly Famous Family - will be on hand from 5pm to entertain you with a medieval performance including fire eating!
