Award winning Oddsocks Productions are bringing Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar to life in their own, inimitable, hilarious and irreverent style for the summer of 2024!

 

Drama and deception mix with sun, songs and silliness to create a theatre event you won’t forget as this “Hugely funny” (The Stage) company hit the road with their “energetic, downright silly, utterly professional and totally inventive theatre” (East Midlands Theatre Review).

We are delighted to welcome Oddsocks back to Workington Hall to perform their take on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar

​

Performances will start at 7pm each night and will last approx. 2 hours, including a 20 minute interval.

​

The following food and drink stalls (listed below) will be available each night:

West Coasta Coffee, Backyard Pizzaiola, Monty's Ices and Get Fizzed.

​

Parking - there is no parking available on site. Nearest car parks are Horse Close CA14 4YB and Udale Street/Ladies Walk CA14 3BA. Charges may apply so please check before parking.

​

What to wear - comfortable clothing and prepare for all weathers.  This is an outdoor performance and we all know what the Cumbrian weather is like!

​

What to bring - seats, blankets, umbrellas, torches.  Gazebos are allowed, but please be considerate to other spectators when setting up and you may be asked to move. No BBQs.

Food and drink stalls will be available on site.

Portaloos - will be available on site.

​

Rubbish - additional bins will be on site, but we do ask that you take all rubbish away with you.

​

Dogs - are welcome, but should be kept on a lead at all

​

Remember your seats, blankets, hats and your sense of humour!
