What's it all about?

Join us for our annual community festival, Party in the Park, on Saturday 25 May in Vulcan Park.

The event runs from 11am – 4pm with a packed programme of entertainment including live music, a local market, fun fair, children’s entertainment, Astral Circus, face painting and more...

All of the entertainment, except for the fun fair, is free of charge.

As well as our main stage and market listed below, we also have a great line up of activities and entertainment to keep everyone happy and amused:

Astral Circus - 11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm

Face painting - 11am-4pm

Panna Football - 1pm-4pm

Maniax - 12pm and 2pm

Fairly Famous Family - 12.45pm show plus walkabout till 4pm

Rainbow Jelly (kids dress up and play area) - 11am-4pm

Cumbria Superheroes - 12pm-3pm

Soundwave are taking over our main stage with an amazing line up for you:

This event will also celebrate Workington twinning with Selm for 25 years and we will welcome visitors from Germany to help with the celebrations.  There will also be a tree planting to mark this special occasion and everyone is welcome to join us for this at 12pm in Vulcan Park.  Look out for location signs on the day.
