There is a race to suit all running abilities and ages!

Courses

Half Marathon​​

Start at Workington Hall and run out towards Clifton.

Turn left down Greengarth and left on to small path through the houses.

Take the path that leads up to Great Clifton village hall and then left onto the track leading down to the river.

Cross the bridge and turn left via a short track leading to a lane. At the bottom of this lane turn right towards Camerton.

Sharp left at Camerton and up the hill along to cycle path opening at 4 mile point.

Turn right at the cycle path. Run up towards Broughton Moor to a marked and marshalled turn around point,

Run back down the cycle path towards Seaton./Workington turning right at the triangle fork, leading towards the Nature Reserve.

Runners will turn left on crossing the A596 pedestrian bridge and continue to follow the cycle path onto Northside Road.

They will take the right hand path from Northside Road leading up towards Navvis Bridge.

Runners will then be directed left and follow the cycle path towards the triangle fork, where they will turn left and follow the loop previously ran.

On the 2nd lap runners will continue to run along Northside Road to the Seaton roundabout and will join the cycle path by turning right on the bridge.

The course then continues along the cycle path (passing through the Park Run start) until turning left to cross Navvies Bridge.

Runners will then be directed left, running down towards to Black Path, where they turn right into the Cricket Ground and run clockwise around the field before finishing in front of the cricket pavilion.
10km​

The race starts on Black Path outside the football grounds and runs down towards the Cricket Club entrance where runners will take a sharp right up towards the cycle path.

Runners will then cross Navvies bridge and head North West along Northside Road.

The course passes through the 5K turn-round point and continues along the cycle path. They will be directed over the A596 pedestrian bridge where they will then head South East taking them past the nature reserve.

When the runners reach a fork in the cycle path (triangle) they will be directed north towards Seaton to a marshalled turning point. (This has been extended slightly this year to allow the race to finish in the Cricket grounds.)

Runners will then return on the cycle path towards Navvi’s Bridge, finishing by running clockwise around the cricket field to the finish line in front of the pavilion.
5km​

The race starts on Black Path outside the football grounds and runs down towards the Cricket Club entrance where runners will take a sharp right up towards the cycle path.

Runners will then cross Navvies bridge and head North West along Northside Road

Runners will be directed North on to the cycle path until reaching a marshalled turn-around point, that runs parallel to the railway line.

On their return runners will run along Northside Road to the Seaton roundabout and join the cycle path by turning right on the bridge.

The course then continues along the cycle path (passing through the Park Run start) until turning left to cross Navvies Bridge.

Runners will turn right from Black Path into the Cricket Ground and finish by running clockwise around the cricket field to the finish line in from of the pavilion.
