FREE Family Fun Day
Workington Town Councill will once again hold a free family fun day for the commmunity in Vulcan Park on Saturday 26th August from 1pm-4pm.
Expect to see mini beasts and birds of prey and get creative with our free activities;beach bags, colour in / word search, streamers, stone monsters, stone post cards, shell art and sand art - all for you to make and take home with you.
If that wasn't enough we also have hook a duck, face painting, festival dots, glitter tattoos, story telling, sports and circus skills.
All activities are free of charge! Free hot dog, chips, drink, ice cream and balloon for the first 100 children.
The previously held fun days in Harrington and Moss Bay have proved very popular.
The event has been organised by Workington Town Council in partnership with local charity, South Workington Youth Partnership (SWYP). The Town Council works with SWYP throughout the year to provide free activities to families in Workington.
